Funny joke about Parliamentary Questions on Speakers Corner?

I normally do not post such stuff, but it was so funny that I could not resist posting what was sent to me below.

“Mr Zainal Sapari: To ask the Minister for National Development (a) if he can give a full account of the incident that happened at Hong Lim Park on 27 September 2014;

Answer: A Minister was busy taking selfie with his back to the stage when the children were performing.  So, how to give a full account of what happened?

(b) whether there has been any non-compliance by the organisers of both events in ensuring public peace;

Answer: Aiyah, have to wait for the court to decide lah. How can the Minister decide?

and (c) whether there is any follow-up action to ensure that such incidents will not happen again.

Answer: They have been charged in court.  So, nobody else would dare to do it again

Ms Denise Phua Lay Peng: To ask the Minister for National Development (a) whether Hong Lim Park is for the sole use of Speakers’ Corner participants;

Answer: No

(b) what designated spots in Hong Lim Park are meant for Speakers’ Corner activities;

Answer: N. A.

(c) what is the list of activities permitted for Hong Lim Park;

Answer: Anything

(d) when and for what activities can the adjacent Telok Ayer Hong Lim Green Community Centre facilities such as the stage be allowed for use by Hong Lim Park users;

Answer: Anything that is not against us lah

(e) what standard operating procedures pertain to the use of Hong Lim Park and the adjacent Telok Ayer Hong Lim Green Community Centre’s facilities; and

Answer: Don’t have lah.  Anybody register online all instantly approved

(f) how the recent incident pertaining to the use of the same ground by YMCA and advocates of the Return-My-CPF group can be avoided.

Answer: Aiyah, after all the ruckus – nobody will protest anymore lah”
