CPF, Roy Ngerng and Article 14 of the Constitution?

I refer to the article “Blogger Roy Ngerng found to have defamed PM Lee” (Straits Times, Nov 7).

It states that “Blogger Roy Ngerng was found to have defamed Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong in a blog post comparing the Prime Minister to City Harvest Church leaders.

But the blogger “remained free to exercise his right to freedom of speech under Article 14 of the Constitution”, except for repeating this particular allegation, said the judge in a written decision.”

– Why can’t we get a straight answer to the following question about our CPF:-

… Is Singapore the only country in the world that keeps about half of the returns (estimated) from its national pension scheme, at the expense of the citizens – resulting in the lowest real return of all national pension schemes?

I would also like to support Martino Tan’s 5 suggestions as to what Roy Ngerng should do in the next few days to exercise his right to freedom of speech (“5 ways blogger Roy Ngerng will predictably exercise his right to freedom of speech in the next few days“, Mothership.sg, Nov 7)

– namely:

… Continue to write on CPF issues of transparency and accountability

… Continue to make videos on CPF issues

… His lawyers to appeal against the summary judgement

… Organise #Return Our CPF at Hong Lim Park

… Crowd source for more money to pay for the damages (to be assessed) via Indiegogo (For example, ask 100,000 Singaporeans to give $1 if the damages is say $100,000)

And, if I may suggest to add a 5th one – Hold a press conference to invite media from all over the world, regarding CPF and freedom of speech under Article 14 of the Constitution.
