Value investing or idiot’s investing plan?

Q. Mr Leong your advice: is $100k considered first pot of gold? Through prudent n cautious invest the idiot way versus value investing? Many topics tis weekend can only choose those worth attending tks n hv a great day!

A. the issue often in value investing may be that even when one finds real value (when everybody else are also trying to find!), the ultimate risk of a stock gosing bust or never recovering is historically prevalent.

if your entire assets is 100k, suggest do idiot’s investing plan – most people focus on the returns instead of the risks. if a financial consultant tells you try to get 20% returns a year – after 4 years your investment double, and then the big crash comes may be all wiped out (this was what happened in the last financial crisis in 2008 for many investors who invested in accumulator products which were the rage of the day) – so, target a reasonable 6% return cheers
