I refer to the articles “PM Lee urges citizens to stand against hackers” (Today, Nov 14) and “PM Lee urges ASEAN to boost ICT cooperation, says courts will deal with hackers” (Channel NewsAsia, Nov 14).

The latter states that “Mr Lee urged citizens to speak up against hacking and those who support or encourage the perpetrators, stressing that hacking incidents cannot be condoned”.
I think some Singaporeans are not supporting or encouraging the hackers.
They may probably be amused by our response to the “hacking” instead – “planned maintenance”, NCMP’s Parliamentary Question on “hacking” filed on 4 November not listed in the Parliament Order Paper on 11 Nov, alleged hacker denied access to his legal counsel, etc.
What the heck? Can’t we tell the difference?
Alamak!
