Job Description
- Responsible for all facets of OTC product sales, including negotiations with buyers on pricing and promotions.
- Possess skills to deal with chain pharmacy buyers and negotiating terms of trade and promotion
- Possess skills to deal with lower trade wholesalers for sales and promotion
- Possess understanding of supply chain and distribution.
- Must have accountability for product performance reporting, such as forecasting, analysis of ytd and prior year sales, promos, etc
- Developing category plan-o-grams and continued analysis of product performance.
- Coordinate product availability to stores and ensure stocks and visibility of product is present in all chain pharmacy and private stores.
- Maintain out of stocks at minimum levels, as well as manage the clearance process and residuals.
- Must be an effective communicator and innovator.
Minimum Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: OTC Executives must be fluent in English, must have working knowledge of purchasing system, Excel, Word and Outlook programs, ability to develop promotion plans and sales forecasts, ability to perform under pressure and meet deadlines. They must have a minimum of 1-2 years of OTC sales experience.
