We refer to the letter “IR updates requested” (Sept 30). Marina Bay Sands is committed to hiring locals. Out of the nearly 9,000 team members at MBS, nearly 70 per cent are Singaporeans.

In some departments such as entertainment, facilities and security, the percentage of locals is as high as 94 per cent. Hiring will continue in tandem with our growth.

MBS is actively hiring for positions such as dealers, food and beverage personnel, technicians, security officers, room attendants and cleaners, among other roles.

As a premium integrated resort with multiple hiring departments spanning hotel, entertainment, F&B, museum, casino, retail and other corporate functions such as marketing, our recruitment efforts will remain dynamic, continuous and long term.

Job seekers can apply for positions online at www.marinabaysands.com/Company-Information/Careers or visit our dedicated recruitment centre on the property from Monday to Friday (10am to 7pm) and on Saturdays (10am to 2pm).
