What percentage of HDB BTO buyers get the maximum housing grants of up to $80,000?

I refer to the HDB’s three-quarter page color advertisement on page B9 of the Straits Times on 14 July “Owning your first home, a journey worth planning for.”

It states that “Did you know?

First-time home buyers can own a BTO flat from:

2-room Flexi flats $4,000

3-room flats $112,000

After housing grants of up to $80,000*

*Grants are subject to applicant’s eligibility”

In this connection, what percentage of those who bought BTO flats received the respective maximum housing grants of up to $80,000?

Is it less than one per cent?
